I always check here on numbers that I don't know and they don't leave a voicemail. This number called and of course didn't leave a voicemail. A thanks to all that take the time to report these lowlifes.
Called several times first few times it was restricted. Lays time it was from 617-714-0978. All calls saying I was pre-selected to receive a $9000 grant. This is a scam the government does not call you about grants that you didn't apply to. I,m no fool.
I received a call from that exact number. I said hello they said this is your dad. I got concerned thinking something happened to my dad as he is from Mass. so I said hello again. I then hear again this is your dad then I want to f@$% you.I said who is this and then they just hung up. The voice sounded almost Indian I don't know but this is horrible. What is going on. I tried to call the number back and all it says is the number you have reached is not in service.
Received a call from this number. I knew it was a scam, but I played along to see where it was going. Guy said he was from PCI Solutions and he was calling because of an issue they detected with my computer. I said "But I don't have a service contract with your company". He then lied and said "Well, you use a Windows computer, correct? If you own Windows then you have a contract with us." I stated, "No, I run Linux" He asked if I was absolutely sure I run Linux and when I said "Yes, Positive" he hung up on me
These mofos call me which I didn't answer and I called back. The recording said the number is not in service. Definitely a scam! Be careful! Send the number to FTC if you get a call from them. FTC is the federal trade commission. You tell them the problem and they will contact local law enforcement. The more people that contacts the FTC the more they investigate these mofos and put them away. I told the Indian he had a small dick curry [***] smelly [***] [***] a hole roach dumb [***] whatever and they laugh. Customer service don't laugh or giggle. They get mad and hang up on you. This is definitely a fraudulent number! Contact FTC if you get this number. The more people file complaint, the more they investigate these [***]!
Appears this scam number has been active for years, wonder how they missed me until today, seems the other 300+ numbers have found my phone...Now the area code is blocked.
Received a call from this number wanting to help me with my Microsoft computer. I just hung up on them. I am a computertech and my computer runs fine.
