I always let calls from unknown numbers go to voice mail. The vm from this number said that I owed $500 to some company and if I did not call back, further action would be taken. I am well aware of all my debts and I do not owe anyone $500. THIS IS A SCAM! I have blocked the number on my phone.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
