calls and leaves no message-have seen many complaints posted on web regarding this number-according to posts caller claims to be collecting funds for thepolice dept. - police dept. does not make calls asking the public for donations/fundscheck out the posts for this number to get more information regarding caller-

I got a call from this number on my cell phone. I called it back from my work phone (after blocking my number via *67) and it was a recorded message for a mortgage company calling themselves "Mortgage Services". I didn't listen to the entire message because I am at work, but obviously they are trying to either sell something or scam people. It has an opt out option if you press 2, but when I did this it went to a voice mail for richard solomon, and it was FULL...SURPRISE SURPRISE...I have thought about taking telemarketers to court but never followed through..I think I am going to start..I could probably make a couple grand off of all the calls I get!!

Random calls for several months. If answered, blank line which hangs up after short time. Area code is SE Ontario Canada / OttawaNote that most police organizations solicit by mail ONLY. My assumption is that this is a scam or harrassment effort.

I JUST GET CALL ASKING FOR SOMEONE AND I SAID MAY I TAKE A NUMBER AND I WILL HAVE THAT PERSON CALL YOU HE SAID I WILL CALL BACK. I ASKED HIM WHAT IS THE REASON YOU ARE CALLING AND SAID CIVIL MATTER (631-840-1020).

Calls. When you answer just breaths loudly and hangs up.

Got a call from an Eric or Derick Miller who asked for me by name (though this is my business) and claimed to be calling about "a civic matter." Heard a boiler room in the background. He was slightly belligerent. Very annoying and a little unsettling.

Need to stop calling
