I just got a text that said "I need 2 talk 2 u asap bout something that just went down. My phone is dyin so call me on this number 6319607171!!"The friend that sent it to me would normally just call me in an emergency situation, and was still at work at the time, so could use his work phone if his cell was dead. With the number being long distance, I damn sure wasn't calling it. And recently saw on a talk show about people's cell phones getting hacked, so I decided to google it. Good thing I did.I hate prank and chain text messages. They're a waste of time...and my messages (even though I have unlimited...lol)

One of my Co-Workers just sent me this text message and it differs a little bit but it scared the heck out of me so much that I got up to fax out some resumes, eeekkkkk. My message said "Call me @my new number 631 960 7178". Since it was outside of my friend's area code I decided to google it instead. Didn't call the number so I don't know if the message is the same.

i didnt get a call, i got a text hey i need to talk to you about something really serious my phone is dying so hit me up at this number 6319607178. i didnt call because at 1st i thought it was a rejection hotline number so i googled it. i also seen the people getting stalked from their cell phone.

I just got a txt saying "hey I need 2 talk 2 u asap about something that just happened. My phone is dying so call me at 631-960-7178. Its important!!" I knew there was no reason for this guy to call me about something that had happened or for something that urgent, so I googled the number and was right. Ha

I got the message to that stated {and I quote} "Hay, I need 2 talk 2 you asap about some stuff that was said about you online. My battery is low so call me on this number 631-960-7178".
