Just now received another call from them. They said they were from Microsoft Communications - tried to say there was something wrong with Windows. I told him he was a scammer and to not call my number anymore and to remove me from his call list. Like that's going to happen. I told them the same thing the last time they called. They're not going to get into my computer.......Besides, I don't use Windows.....

I got a call from this # on my cell on Tuesday, which was very odd. I was at work, and "John" told me he was from Windows and wanted to help me w/an issue in my PC. If there were any problems at work, the call would be going straight to the IT dept, so I knew this was a scam. I asked him where he got my number and he told me he got it from a call list. I told him I don't personally own a PC and to never call my number again and hung up.Fast forward to today. I'm at my mom's house, and someone calls. She tells the person my dad isn't home and starts to answer questions. At one point she asks the person if he would prefer to speak to her in Hindi (we are Indian), and I hear the word "computer" and then she says, "no, we don't have one, but I have an iPad." I lunge for the phone and ask the guy where he got the number from and why he was calling. He says the same spiel about Windows and trouble w our PC. I tell him I'm sick of people calling and trying to scam us, using half English and half Hindi to yell at him. He gets really defensive and says, "You can't talk to me like that. I'm not doing anything illegal. You can take my caller ID # and look it up." I tell him I'm hanging up and for him to stop calling my parents. Five minutes later, the SAME number calls and I yell at them again and hang up.I'm just waiting for another call. I'm going to really blow a fuse. I assumed they were targeting Indians hoping to get someone like my mom to get them to tell them their bank acct number or whatever. Makes me sad cuz it's so obviously an overseas call from India.

Scam tax season want computer information to steal private information

I wonder if this JERK has ever been contacted by the Better Business Bureau and The Attorney Generals Office.If this JERK keeps on calling me I will press charges thru the FTC. These people need to sit in jail for awhile.

I got this too and hung up on him. As we all know too well, Microsoft will never, Ever call you regarding some issue with Windows. These idiots just want to disable your PC. Don't give them any information, the number they use is spoofed. If you have a call blocker, block the number like I did.

Block those calls. Check online for Mr. Number.............IT WORKS!!!!! One ring and that is it.

Got a call from this number. Man with very heavy Indian accent. Said he was calling in support of "Windows PC". Hahahahah - obviously a scam. When did anybody from a real support organization actually call you back, never mind call you unsolicuted?
