Yesterday I was called. A man asked me: is your PC working? I hang up.Today again!

Obviously, you had a computer and they knew it because you said you think they put a virus on your computer. They couldn't have done that without you having done something to allow it. Normally, that wouldn't have prevented your computer from coming on though. However, it might have blocked you from having access to it because they may have changed the administrative password, if you in fact had somehow allowed them access to it in the past.What they probably did was take over your computer, after you were convinced they were legit, and negligently gave them access to it. Then likely, they put it on a bot-net (a network of computers controlled by another computer, or another user or group of users). They are probably angry because you have somehow removed their ability to use your computer. Hopefully, you took it to a local computer repair shop and had whatever the scammers put on it removed so the scammers no longer have access. That's good. Now, you need to make sure you never give anyone who calls you on the phone, unsolicited, access to it again. Also, you need to make sure you have a really good anti-virus software installed and keep it up-to-date. However, even doing all that might not prevent a computer from being subjugated again, as we've all learned.Hackers are so much faster and way more tech savvy than the average person. They find the flaws and exploit them before the anti-virus software companies, software and app providers, and major computer manufactures know about them. Then it takes time for the good guys to figure out how to patch them. In the meantime, people fall prey to the hackers and scammers.As for reporting scammers, they know that threat is a lie, especially if they are calling from spoofed numbers that are virtually untraceable.

They have called me several times. THIS IS A SCAM. They want to take control of your computer and it won't end well. Hang up. I have told them many times that their scam is well-known and all over the internet. Today I finally told them I have a MAC and hung up.

This phone number has been calling at 6:30 in the morning several times a week and not answering. I did a reverse look up and it said telemarketer

received a call from this number today, something about Microsoft security. I politely asked to be removed from their mailing list and the guy (heavy Indian accent) told me he couldn't do that and I asked again to be removed and his comment was "until I licked his balls" hearing enough I won't repeat my reply and hung up. Totally a-holes!!

As everyone else, the 'computer-virus-repair' clowns in India - again. If they are stupid enough to keep calling the same numbers over and over with no joy, you'd think they are stupid enough that somebody could catch them!

called here, hone rang 8 times then they hung up. Machine not working so I don't know if there would have been a message or not.

I get this call frequently usually do not answer.Today I decided to tell them off again, he said it was very important to let them fix my computer because it was sending messages of impending crash. I told him I had retired from computer management after 25 years( true) and had extremely competent technicians who would take care of any issues for meHe hung up..

These people with an accent call my home on a wireless line to say an Aaron Black was hacking into my Home Computer, they called at 10:22 a.m. May 1, 2015, called Police they turned it over to their detectives also our neighborhood is filled with COUNTY Cops and AGENTS. THE NUMBER THEY CALL FROM IS 646-612-3456, THEY ARE THE HACKERS, I ALERT ED EVERYONE, AND THEY ARE CHECKING INTO THE MATTER, DO NOT I REPEAT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION, I REPEAT GIVE NO INFORMATION AND DON'T TAKE ANY INFO. THEY WILL BE DEALT. WITH CHEATING & HACKING INTO A COMPUTER THAT HAS NO SERVICE. SO PLEASE BEAWARE, WHEN TRYING TO CALL NUMBER BACK IT'S JUST A BUSY SIGNAL, IT'S SAD, BUT THIS IS THE WORLD WE LIVE IN TODAY ' S SOCIETY, PEOPLE LIKE THIS THAT TRIED TO STEAL FROM DECENT PEOPLE MAKING AN HONEST LIVING. BUT REMEMBER HACKERS TECHNOLOGY HAS COME A LONG WAY. WHOM EVER IS DOING THIS , WILL HAVE A FINAL DATE WITH THE DEVIL.

Keep getting calls from them with no message left. Decided to log onto my AT&T account and added them to the block list. No more calls from them!! :-)
