I receive these calls almost weekly. If I’m bored, I talk to them. Today a “technician” with Windows named “Albert Morris” with a thick accent called me. He told me that my computer had been sending error messages to the “main” server. He wanted me to type in www.teamviewer.com in the address box and click enter. I told “Sam” that tell me how I can see where these error messages were coming from. He told me that he would show me. We argued for about 5 minutes about showing me the error messages. He got angry and said “I will call you back when you calm down”, then he hung up. About 10 minutes later he called again. He said, “ are you ready to follow my directions?”. Today I got another one telling me that my computer was sending error messages. I asked him what file was causing the problem and he told me it was "csrss.exe". I told him I thought that file was essential to Windows and I didn't want to delete it for fear it would mess up my computer. I then asked him about his credentials--did he have a PhD or was he post-doctoral. I had to ask him to repeat it several times to understand what he was saying. He had me open up the event viewer. I didn’t tell him what he wanted to hear so he told me that my computer would be disconnected from the Internet. He said that he knew my IP address and they were going to disconnect me. When I ask what is my IP address, he hung up.

I received this call also (wireless caller) 646-612-3456 Oct 30 2015 6:26 pm asked for me by name, thick Indian accent also, said someone was hacking my windows account, I let him finish what he had to say and told him I only have Apple products, he said oh hold on then, that's when I hung up and blocked his number. But it really bugged me that he knew my name.
