Same # called 4 times today. My phone was off and I checked it tonight. NO MESSAGES! I called the number for arguments sake and its " not in service" lol FYI..I blocked them as I do all unknown callers and especially #'s I don't know. I don't know anyone in NY,USA :)

I got a call from this number and i didnt pickup, later on i called back and got automated message that this number not in service.

Keep receiving calls from "Nancy," a woman with a heavy Indian accent, claiming to be calling from "Windows Home Computer." She wants me to access my home computer, and hangs up if I ask any questions about supervisors, her employer, or anything about the obvious scam she's trying to pull.

Male (sounded Indian) called my # & asked for my husband. When I asked who is calling the person said he was from Microsoft and that we reported having a problem with our computer. I told him I know it's a scam and to never call my number again. He started to tell me that my husband reported an issue with our computer which I told him to never call my number gain because I do not have a computer with a Microsoft operating system. This is not the first time someone has called claiming to be from Microsoft. Funny how when I tried to call the number back from a private phone number a recording says the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. I wonder why that is.

Got call from 612-646-3456 at 9:15pm EST. they are scammers trying to steal from your computers. Don't give them any info. Tell them you work for Microsoft.

No jurisdiction, unless it's established by the scammers' activities directed at American persons. The law has jurisdiction, but our police don't.

I never answer calls from people or companies I do not recognize, especially if they do not say anything. Most likely, the caller ID is spoofed anyway, so why bother wasting your time answering the call. What I have done is to have a very short message on my answering machine, "Leave a message, please", followed by a very long pause. This makes them think someone is on the line, so they start talking. Eventually, they realize no one is there. With this caller, I heard a very thick Indian accent with lots of boiler room noise in the background (speaking in Indian dialect). He called his manager to the phone who obviously told him to hang up in Hindi.

This is a scam. Did not pick up. They did not leave a message.

Received a call from this number at 2:07 p.m. MDT to my boss's direct line. After identifying myself, there was silence, then the line disconnected after a few seconds.
