Got 3 calls from this number and answered today. Claiming to be from RBC and selling fraud related product. Asked that I confirm my name and I said why would I do that if you're from RBC and you called me. You should know my name from my file. Then when I agreed to have him send me info he asked that I confirm my address so I gave him the name of a street and the name of a city. No street #. That's when he hung up. Guess he realized that I was catching on.

Bunch of **** our here trying to scam. They spent 5000 dollars on my credit card, its all good though they will get caught

Received a call from this phone number from a professional sounding male, he said he was calling from RBC. He asked me if my name was Jessica, I said yes. He asked me if he could talk about RBC offering a protection against theft/identity theft package and credit protection service, and if he could ask me a couple of questions. I said okay. He asked me if I knew anyone who had experienced identity theft, I said yes. He said sorry, that's very unfortunate. Then he asked me if I travel a lot. That was a big red flag for me, I told him I had to go. He said he would call me back another time. I called RBC to report this call and give them this 647-725-9896 phone number to confirm if it was an RBC phone number. The customer service representative said no, all RBC calls come from a 1-800 phone number. She noted this incident in my file in case anything happens and took down this phone number. I blocked this phone number. DO NOT ANSWER any phone calls from this phone number. They want to get more information about you so they can clearly scam you. Please be aware.

This is a scam - I called RBC to verify this phone call. The bank will not call you to sell you a product, they will only call you to verify transactions made on the account. Do not provide any information via phone or email.

I got a call from him two days ago and it was while I was busy. He knew my first name and asked if he could talk to me and then I could hear anything so after repeating hello three times I hung up. I got another call yesterday at 10:39 am but I couldn't answer it as I was in the washroom. Then, again today I got a call at 10:35 and it was a man who said hello then immediately a woman asked if this was 's' (she knew my first name). I hung up immediately. I'm not sure which bank I should be reporting this to.

I received a call from this number asking for my wife who happened to be out at the moment. The person calling said it was regarding an "additional feature" available to her. This sounded very vague so I asked what company he was calling from to which he refused to answer my question, he said could only speak with her. Real Banks have always identified themselves upfront and never refuse when asked to identify themselves. Do not trust anyone calling from this number - its a scam!

I have already blocked this this number, but still see when they have called (it is registered under blocked, so I know not to answer it). They call about 3-4 times a day. Does anyone know how you can report a phone number?
