Called me today. Have been calling for days. knew my name. Wanted to tell me about new features from RBC sounded off and strange. Told thwm i was getting ready for work has been calling while im at work. Seems to be fake as posted above very vague I will be blocking this number after i post this

Unwanted caller harassing

Called but didn't leave a message. Most likely a scam.

they said they present rbc security to verify my credit card. What other credit card im using.... rbc wont ask me what other credit card i use. they wont ask such question and other myself personal information. i hangup!! unless i call them, they verify my information, i will tell them. or go to bank to ask and verify.

Have been calling for weeks. On the initial the man "William", from RBC knew my name and wanted to discuss my accounts, politely declined and told him that I would follow-up with my actual bank. I then called Royal bank to inform them of the name and number. They're relentless, I'm blocking number.

I received a call from this number 647-725-9896. I called my branch bank and verified that they don't have this number in their system. Clearly not RBC but a scam. Was advised by the bank to report this number to the Canadian Anti-fraud Centre 1-888-495-8501. You might want to do the same to make this claim valid.

Scam call

Call from this number saying he was with Famtel for rbc bank and wanted to confirm my identity and talk about identity theft products. I said d I would contact RBC re any such product and hung up.

Yup i keep getting calls from this number. I am thankful i found others that have received calls and reported it here as spam. (well not thankful you received the calls - but now i know who it is) a SCAM! UGH

Well spoken man. Claimed he was from Royal Bank and wanted to let me know about some products. I said I didn't need any products, but he insisted he could just tell me about them. So I said "You can tell me, but I won't be giving any personal information over the phone." He wished me a good day and ended the call.If he had really been promoting products, I expect he could have elaborated. Scam.
