called on Tues asking for my wife. then called again yesterday, when she was home. I gave her the phone, but said "be careful what you say to them, there is no RBC on the call display". She didn't provide any important info. then I looked up the number here. good thing I warned her.
Got a call from this number posting to be on behalf of Royal Bank. They did not even know my last name. He say his name wasAdam.
Have had numerous calls from this number over the last week or so. Answered at first but only got silence. Haven't answered since. No messages left. Just irritation.
He also called me I gave himMy email as "confirmation" hopefully nothing can be done with just that. He said I'd get an email within 4-5 business days and got me to comit to a 1 month free trial.
I received a suspicious call yesterday from a Quebecer. She spoke to me in French and she asked me many questions about my credit cards and my online purchases.She said that she was calling from RBC to selling a service concerning a protection of my credit card against fraud. I said that I am not interested in this service and I did not provide her with any information.
I have been getting missed calls from this number and answered today. He said his name is Adam Edwards and even gave me a business address in Barrie Ontario (41 King st, Barrie). He said he is from RBC and wanted to talk about the benefits of my Credit Card. I told him I would contact RBC to validate and he promptly provided me with a customer care number,,,,not RBC
