Called and asked for my wife.Wife said it was for Republican National Committee. She had an interesting conversation, but since we are underfunded (as in broke financially) said maybe they could call back next year. Asked why they called since we had already given to our favorite congressman's campaign. No real response to question.....

I finally called *69 to find out who was calling. It was 651-379-0100, and based on what everyone is saying above I'm convinced it was the same political party we gave to long ago that has been told at least 20 times, not to call anymore, to take us off their mailing list and any other list they can think of. They keep telling us the national party has about 12 different lists, one for the senate, one for the congress, one for presidential elections, so we'll have to keep requesting it till we're off ALL the lists!!!! Take a tip from us: IN THIS PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION SEASON, DON'T GIVE TO A NATIONAL POLITICAL PARTY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HARASSED BY CALLS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

I called *69 and found out it was 651-379-0100 and I'm sure it was a national political calling for money, based on what's on this site plus the fact that we continue to get fundraising calls for this political party which we gave to ages ago in spite of the fact that we continue to tell them not to call [probably 20+ times by now], and in spite also of the fact that we have told them to take us off their mailing lists. Here's a tip: Don't just ask them to remove your name from the do not call aspect, but also the mailing fundraisers, since they evidently do both. I also appreciate the person who gave the FCC link above, as I have just submitted a formal complaint. I would just warn anyone in this presidential election season not to give to a national committee -- unless you want to be hounded by these people the rest of your life.

This number calls everyday. I answered once and all I heard was my own voice. I leave the answering machine answer it most of the time. I did try to call it back but got a busy signal.

We have gotten lots of calls from them. When you answer, no one is there. just hangs up They have called everyday for the last 3 days and THREE TIMES TODAY! I don't care who it is. We are on the do not call list and they are NOT authorized to call. This is harassment plain and simple and using the phone system to harass is a federal offense. Doesn't matter if it's company or the president of the country himself!

Researched this a bit. The company is in Saint Paul, MN and has a long history doing fundraising and such for the RNC and other Republican organizations. They called tonight, and when requested to remove our number (twice), they just hung up.I have filed a complaint with the RNC, requesting removal of telephone number and mailing address from their "lists". If that doesn't get anywhere, then will try the FCC route. As noted in earlier posts, the Do-Not-Call Registry does not apply to political or non-profit causes.

This "man" called our number last night - area code 903. He just called. I said hello = he said hello. I am ready to call the police. This man is frightening.

I'm also on a "do not call" list but have had at least a dozen calls from this number on my caller ID. I answered today but said nothing, no one spoke, so I hung up. I was a RNC member (very small donation on two succesive years), but did not renew my membership. I was pressured by phone mid-year: I have not renewed and plan to support Republicans locally only.
