Hi there - just a question...I had someone that I met recently call my cell number and this is the number that came up....I didn't answer it because I was on the other line and when i got the voicemail...tried to call it back - no way to do so...said I couldn't leave a message...How do I find his skype id or number so that I can find him again? Do they need to be registered? He did not have a phone...so I'm assuming that he had a tablet or pc....thoughts? It's killing me that I missed speaking to him and now no way to get a hold of him....silly I know. Thanks for any input

I got a call from "SKYPE USER 661-740-0240" after I tried calling an 800 number for Webroot support1-800-647-8900. (incorrect number) It didn't sound like them answering with thick middle eastern accent.Almost Immediately I got a phone call from the "skype user" claiming that he was the support tech I was looking for. Like a dumb [***] I then believed him and allowed him access to my computer. When he appeared confused with what he was doing I took a screen shot. Than told him "I don't believe you and ended the session.

This is a University in Singapore that I do business with. They use Skype because it's cheaper. Does Skype us the same number for other organizations in the area I wonder?

I got the call a few seconds ago, as soon as I picked up and said hello they hung up immediately.

Yes, I have the same Skype service, $60/yr for a real phone number and up to 10,000 minutes per month of use.Not here to hawk or sell anyone anything, just think it's a great service. Also good when you make a "risky" call, like calling back the 800 number that calls 3 times a day every day.Very easy to block phone numbers on Skype too! Poor old Vonage wants me back at $14.99/MO+. They lost the game when they never allowed call blocking. Then I found SkypeIn for a fraction of any VOIP service. Sound quality is the best too.Skype works great as second number on my iPhone too!

Just received my first call from these apparent scammers. I do not answer numbers I am not familiar with. They of course did not leave a message. Oh, and I am on the worthless DNC list. Thas dollars hard at work there! Phhffft...

Got called by this # at 11:55pm on a Saturday night. Didn't answer and there was no message left. I do use Skype, so it's possible I guess it was someone on my Skype list, but strange time to call.

these are all fake from all posted its anna heiderscheit I live in Florida MN and i called back the # that was called on my phone yesterday and it came from anna Heiderscheit a girl from Olivia MN. Very bratty girl says "you can't report me or i'll get you twice as hard and my mom isn't home but if you try calling her to speak to her she will lie for me, because I can call whoever I want and when I want I won't get caught" omg why hasn't anybody done anything and she says she calls off different #''s! She also said over the phone that she said if she got pulled into the police she'd tell them shes been getting "framed" when she clearly isn't! why haven't they got this girl for this crap seriously very annoying with my phone getting calls over 150 times ah! she keeps calling from diffrent numbers annoying!

Person with a thick Indian accent called, stating that they were calling on behalf of Sony Corporation. Same individual stated that within the past year, I entered a contest through a Wal-Mart receipt. After tormenting them for about 5 minutes, the caller hung up on me. Social engineering fail!

its anna heiderscheit of Olivia MN she keeps calling off different phone numbers so she don't get called and her mother is involved with her, the mother isn't much better from what i've herd when they call my cell phone she swears and calls people [***] ext when you tell her that her daughter is calling many times over a phone her mother don't care just lets her keep doing it and if it were me i think her mother is covering up for her daughter its sick. but as said when talking to the mother, the mother was exactly like her daughter not giving a rats butt on what has been going on. makes me so mad.
