just got a call on my cell from this number; didn't answer because i didn't recognize it and no messsage was left, so i will block this number

This number displays when somebody calls me from a Skype account. It may or may not be a legitimate call.

I got a call from this number 5 min ago. Damn scam is ongoing.

I also just received a call from this number. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. When I called the number (from a different phone), the recorded message said it was a SKYPE number and couldn't connect.

This is a Skype number. I don't answer unknown numbers, but it turns out it was my Mom calling telling me she forgot her cell phone. It may be scammers/telemarketers, but it could also be someone you know using Skype to contact you as well.

Yesterday I recieved the same phone call. Telling me that he was calling from microsoft and he made me open the google page . But when he tried to charge me 49.99 I noticed that something was wrong. I hang up and I closed my comp. Now I'm afraid of what information he can get out of my computer.

I got 39 calls from this number (661-748-0240) between midnight and 1am on my cell phone. There was background noise but no real message. I went to my cell phone account on line and blocked this number.

Today I needed help trying to register my new HP printer so I googled hp phone numbers and I got this bad connection with a man with a Indian accent. He said my computer was bad and had problems and that he can fix it for $25 dollars. I said no I will take it back to the store.He asked if I had home security. I said WHAT? I hung up and he was mad. I went to best buy and the Geek squad guy checked my computer and he said that was probably a phoney hp site. nothing was wrong with my computer or printer. Later That evening this guy calls again and on my phone it said Skype user with the number 6617480240 He wanted to know if I had paid to have my computer fixed and how much did I pay? I said why? He screamed you were not supposed to pay I am mixed up by his words he asked again what I payed so I said goodby and I hung up. This is just a scammer Please out there be aware of these low lifes.

Got a call today from a 661 number and did not answer it. Called it back and message said it was a Skype number. No more calls yet.

The woman voice very softly and told me that I will received a protection for my company. She knows exactly the name of my company and she will send me a email for protection my company. I am confused and ask her name. She stated to me that she calls from La Mesa CA and her phone number 619-463-4000, her name is Rachel and no extension. This early morning, I search in Google and find out about that phone number. Thank you for the Google search to help me find out the bad people.Truly yoursHieu Vo
