phone number comes in 661-748-0242 but no one there when answered, then calls back again.
They did same to me. I am selling shoes on Craigslist. Wes Kite texted saying he would buy if i sent paypal invoice. I did. He then said he added shipping costs to my payment and asked me to wire $350 to shipper. Then I got fake paypal messages with misspelled words saying my total money was on hold until I paid Cassandra in CA, fake shipper. It said once paid, paypal would release my money. They are bad at this scam. I texted Wes Kite, fake buyer, all day then got a call from this same 661 number from a guy saying he was with FBI. I had already texted that i reported them. BEWARE!!!!!
My husband has a skype account set up on his cell phone so he can call me directly when out of country ....and this number shows up on my cell when he calls. Sometimes underneath number it has said...Washington, California and even Thailand, and that is not where he is at. So ???? I just know it is a number set up through Skype.

I'm so glad this day in age we can figure out strange callsfrom unwarranted hosts. Tnxx for everyones comments, I got a call from this number and didn't answer cause I didn't recognize it.
Patricia, a lady called me from this number and she wanted insurance info. Said she was calling from my ins. company I explained that I owe no bill and when I goole her # I tols her what it said scam! she hung up!!! I tried to call her back and was told the call was from SKYPE & I couldn't get back to the party.
I just recieved about 6 phone calls from 661-748-0242, 661-748-0245, 661-748-0240, and 661-380-3000. a man started cussing me out and threatening to blow my butt up with an AK47 and calling me a hoosier and told me to quit calling there. I have not even dialed out on my phone today. then i got more calls from the different numbers above and two of them said they were some deputy but sounded like it was a recording. not sure whats up.
