701-509-8703 called me today at work answer it but, had to hang up they recorded voice said something about my account being cancelled. Called back later it was a sales company and Welp thats my story looks to be just another teleamarketer.
At 6:35 am, Some [***] called my house (automated) claiming to be with the Sandia Federal Credit Union, and claimed that my debit account had been frozen, and to clarify the issue, I needed to enter my 16 digit number, and so of course, I entered a bogus number. The automated voice, had a slightly British sounding accent.-------And, WHY IS THIS LIST OF COMPLAINTS, SO LONG? WHY HAS THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY NOT BEEN TAKEN CARE OF???
Received a call at 11;46 Sunday night. Automated voice message said that there was a problem with my Bank of America debt card and needed to press one because the card was being cut off and I needed to take care of the problem before I tried to buy something with it. I hung up.
Didn't answer the call, glad I didn't. I am in Canada and do not answer calls with US area codes, chalk this number up as scammer and block it.
Got the exact same call just now. It was a computerized voice. Seems like people have been running scams from this number for a long time- anyone with any knowledge of these things know how they can do this with no consequences?
My call said that it was from Wells Fargo and that they regetted to inform me there was a problem with my debit card and it was locked up. Press........................................, you get the picture. I just hung up. Interesting since I don't use banks.

I got a call yesterday, from (get this) 555-555-5555, got the automated voice; now I just got a call from the 701-509-8703 same voice saying they are with Sandia Area Credit Union and that my credit card is lock, that's great if I had one!I hope no one falls for this scam!
