From Check City. A prospective borrower put down my cell number with someone else's name for a reference. I have never heard of the borrower nor the supposed reference. The borrower had given Check City bogus information and used my number to do so. When I called Check City to set them straight, they were polite and professional and said they would take my name and number out of their system immediately. I have no reason to believe they will not. I don't answer unknown calls and the woman at Check City left a voice mail with the borrower's name and name of supposed reference, and her name and ext. I have that saved in case Check City calls again and/or in case this bogus borrower uses my phone with that other person's name anywhere else. If Check City is calling you, it is because someone gave them your number. They are just doing their job.

In regards to ur message give people a break times are tough talk politely and work with these people. Assuming your work there that is why you are soo bent!! GET OVER IT!!

I received a message on my phone from this number for my brother. He put me as a reference. The person says they are from Tosh Incorporated and need to verify information on an application he filled out. I agree that my brother knows that he owes them money, but was out of work for 2 months with no income. He plans to pay his debts now that he is working again. The issue I have with this company is that they are leaving false information to try to collect I debt. It is illegal for them to falsely identify themselves.

No,They should accept their loses or quit charging interest after 300% return,has been accumulated,on the debt.Accept a lower rate of return in their business model,as everyone else that has had too,in the last 30 years.No one forced Check City to make this or any loan.These borrowers were there for you,when you choose to loan them money. Accept your loses Check City.Grow up and live up to your responsibilities to society ,give them a break and forgive debts.Check City will be a bettercompany.

You should NEVE GIVE OUT ANY INFO 2 anyone regarding your family. Because you don't know if it's a SCAM or anything. Now you violated his rights by running your mouth. REGARDLESS, he could've sue them for something and you telling him and may not know why or whether he paid it. KEEP your mouth shut and don't allow him to use u as a reference because you don't know how to answer the phone without revealing things. NEVER GIVE INFO OUT... STOP SNitching.. !!

Yeah it is Check City. Apparently my buddy used me as a reference and wants to talk to him. Never used one of these legal loan sharks! The interest alone is ridiculous from what I understand!

I received a call from this number on Friday. Made payment arrangements for 2 payments this week, to pay off debt, and they are STILL calling me 6 times a day. They call me at home, they call me at work... thank goodness for caller ID. I go to work at 3:30 a.m., and they call at 10:30 p.m. I am paying this debt. Why won't they leave me alone...?
