I talked to an IRS agent named Gary Cooper - he had a very hard accent. Called local sheriffs department - was informed its a SCAM

received this intimidating call saying they are with the IRS.Tried to extort money from me. said they would freez my assets in 45min.

I got a call from an "IRS investigator" who said his name was Daniel Murphy, but he had a heavy Indian accent.

SCAM...I called them back and threatened them..they claim to be IRS ,IRS does not call ever

SCAM. I filed a imposter report against this number with the IRS. 703-239-6351. i called and told them and they hung up.

They called me this morning. First time no one answered when I said hello. Second time already gong through the recording. Scam.

Just called me..Totally spam.

caller stated he was from irs, was going to sue me.

Have received several calls from this #...I have not answered. They say they have a case file against me and wants me to call immediately.....Not happening!!! SCAM!!

They called my mom & told her she was being sued & that they were sending the police that moment to arrest her. Having PTSD, she began to panic & asked for my help. I looked up the number to find out that it was indeed, a scam.Sooo, I went ahead & filed a report with the ftc AND with the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration as well as calling the Fairfax County Sheriffs in Virginia & making them aware of the problem. AFTERWORDS, My mom & I began phone bombing them, it is a VERY small outfit with only a few operators & yes they did hang up over and over, but when I told them that they had been reported to the aforementioned groups & that their number is already all over the internet as a scam, they stopped answering completely. That's my advise, call over and over again, not threatening the but telling them that the real IRS is after them... they'll give up and move on in a day or two, best of luck & don't forget, no matter what they say or what threats they make, they are only lying to scare you out of your money :)
