Same happened to me today. Called my mobile number, so I'll just block it, now that I know what the call is about.
This guy told me to go F myself and that I'm a [***]. He said he works for the IRS and I asked for the toll free number. Then he said I was a f-ing skank and hung up
Got a call from this number yesterday. The guy had a heavy Indian accent and told me that IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. I told him that I know this is a scam and would report the call to US Dept. of treasury, which I did do.
They called me, said it was Internal Revenue Service. That there was an IRS lawsuit against me for fraud, tax deception, etc. IRS Legal department, lawyer Mark Watson, gave me a badge ID 1089, extension 143. They said there was an arrest warrant against me. If I wanted to settle out of court today, I would have to pay $2,786.80.Sent me to get "government approval vouchers". Told me to stay ON TE LINE the entire time, walk him through every step I make, said the agents are on standby to arrest me if I do not pay to stall the warrant for arrest...asked me to go to apple store, since it sold government approved vouchers...
Same here - pre-recorded message saying they are from the IRS and I owe and to call back this 703 #.Thnx to finding this site and now I know its a scam.but a scam like this - where they use the IRS in their message, how can we report it? this seems like something that should be looked into
