I saw this number on my cell phone as a missed call. No message left. From what others here are saying, this is probably the scam that I have gotten calls from before. They sound like they are from India. They say they are Microsoft or some other company and that you have a bug and they need to log on to fix it. This is of course illegal. They want access to your computer, possibly to install something so that you have to buy a fix from them. Tell them you are reporting them to the FTC. Ask for their name, company and phone number. They either hang up or give false info. You can go to the FTC website and file a complaint. When enough complaints are filed they will take action against them. They won't for just one person. So everyone should go on FTC site and make a detailed complaint and give this phone number as the source. Give as many details as you can for them to investigate. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO ABOUT YOURSELF!!!!

Actually, you should go on the site for the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), I think that's the one to make the complaint to. Not the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). Go on the FTC website and file a complaint and give this 703 phone number and as much detail as you can. If they get enough complaints about this they will launch an investigation and prosecute them. And if you want, if they call you, start asking them a million questions: their name, company name, phone number, where are they located, web address, street address, etc. Write down anything they say for your complaint. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF. And don't threaten any violence, just tell them you are going to report them to the authorities and hang up.

Sorry - I keep making the typo. Go to the FCC website. Just google FCC. Pick the tab to make a complaint at the top. Click on the online form and fill it out online (unless you want to print it out and fax or mail it). There was only one section where I could write so I wrote there where it asked how I found this info out. Otherwise it is a multiple choice form. FCC. Federal Communications Commission. This scam is not only violating your do-not-call status if you have that, it is also a scam trying to get access to your private computer log-on info. DO NOT TELL THEM ANYTHING. REPORT THEM ON THE FCC WEBSITE. Fill out the form. You know they are scamming elderly people who don't understand computers and are easily fooled. Or anyone who doesn't understand computers very well or those who have been hacked. DON'T GIVE ANYONE YOUR INFO IF THEY CALL. NO ONE DOES BUSINESS THAT WAY. ONLY IF YOU HAVE PROOF THEY ARE A LEGITIMATE COMPANY THAT YOU ARE DOING BUSINESS WITH.

Okay - now I know this is what these calls are. The 703 number I saw on my cell number. Now I just received a call on my land line which is a different number of course. I answered and the Indian-accented male said he was with Microsoft Tech and needed to discuss my computer. I told him I was reporting them to the FCC and they would be investigated and they hung up. I did this in the past and they stopped calling. But they seem to be doing it again. IT IS A SCAM. Please make a complaint on the FCC website in the U.S. I have been getting these calls over a couple years and no one has stopped them yet. Please complain to the FCC. It takes a lot of complaints from different people to get them to do an investigation and prosecute them.

Received the call on my cell phone. Didn't answer, called it back from a land line, got a message saying, "The number you have dialed is not in service. This is a recording."

If calls are from VA then will fly down and discuss matters in person. If overseas may fly there or beter yet hire a good hack to rain down every nice thing that can be packed into a message or two or two thousand. If by chance anyone has an Email or address from these idiots please post it here. OK... voices in my head indicate thorzine levels dropping so have to go.
