Scam is still going around. I just got it today. We need to report this to Avon. I think that if we all join together maybe we can stop this! It is just a shame we put ourselves out there as Avon representatives and I get more "fake" people wanting to contact me than actual real customers through the internet. Its really disappointing.

I got a very similar email from someone claiming to be Lillie Walton. She claimed she was from L.A. and that she would be coming to my area soon for a "showbiz." She also wrote that she couldn't order from the website because she needed a paper statement, which, of course, is ridiculous. There were just too many weird things about it all. THIS NEEDS to be stopped and has been going on for FAR too long!! I cannot believe the same scam is still going on. I didnt read everyone's note to see who actually cashed it BUT sweet lord, I feel for the people who have. I was dumb enough to order the stuff and today I rec'd a check for 1850 and red flags went ALL OVER THE PLACE. Being married to a police officer, he told me to NOT cash it and it was a total scam. He was so right. NOW I want to nail whoever this is.

I am off the wall. I got an email from a Sarah benneth. I operate out of SD. She said she didn't operate by card so she wanted to pay via check. I am still fairly new so stupidly I have her my name and address. She stated that it needed to be an address and not p.o. Box because her carrier doesn't deliver to p.o. Boxes . I am mildly frightened. I haven't placed the order and I'm not going to. I did not receive a call from this number but it sounds like similar people. I just got the same EXACT SAME email. I am a rep in San Antonio, TX. It contained a number that did not work. What I want to know is, what is in it for them? It's not like they actually get the products for free. Are they hoping to get numbers and addresses for junk mail and telemarketers? I could tell right away it was a scam.
