This is the message I received today1/11/12 at 1:47 PM from someone calling themselves, Deborah Drake. The order total before taxes would've been $106.86!!! Sounded too good to be true, so I googled the "company" and got to this site. I will be contacting Avon shortly to let them know about this horrible scam!Hello, I really appreciate your quick reply to my inquiry about the products I wanna order. I feel stupid, I just started selling AVON and thought it was legit. Now I have to return a $100 order. I wish I knew to check this out before I ordered. I was actually looking for a number to call and came on to this site. My letter stated "Glad to hear back from you. I'm the Manager of Mitchell Models International, Santa Rosa, CA. Will be coming to your city by early March for a photo shoot. I would need you to get the listed Avon products for me. " Then listed what she wanted and stated a sponsor would be sending me a check. Well too bad for me I fell for Debbie Drake. Learn the hard way, but this isn't right.

"Deborah Drake" shows up in my customer list as well. I originally received a "contact me" request which I replied to and the response I got is listed in my previous post

I just received the same email she said she need the products by the end of Jan she so stupid to change her month because we are at the end of February so from that mistake I knew it was a scam

I did and I feel so stupid, I am new, it was my 2nd order. It came through as a new contact from my website. I thought it was safe. After everything I have read about Debbie Drake and Mitchell Models International I don't know why Avon isn't protecting their representatives from this. It seems to me they have been notified about this. I can't believe this.

I am an Avon Rep in Springfield, VA. I received this e-mail too. When I saw that a personal e-mail was being used for a professional order I googled the name of the "Modeling Agency". The e-mail was exactly the same as the one posted by Greta Young above. Just proves - When in doubt, Check IT OUT.Thanks to everyone else that posted. Good to see everyone looking out for each other

I sell Avon in NC and got a email from some woman named Nicole saying she was with a modeling agency, lucky for me I researched the place and out lead me to here.

Mine was the exact same letter, orders, wording, everything. Never in my life did I think this would happen through Avon. No one warned me about this, I had to find out the hard way, after I got scammed, looking for a number for Mitchell Modeling to complain and I find all of these people who knew better and have reported it.

Same message from Ms. Drake here in Hillsville, VA. Just forwarded the email to my manager. Thought it was pretty odd that they take the time to go to AVON Reps website to generate the emails...I really hope AVON IT Dept. can pull up their IP address or something to be able to stop these idiots from bothering more people.
