I just got a call from this number. My home phone is connected to go to fax first. I can get it if I know who it is. Despite being on both Texas and FTC do not call lists, we still get so many calls. I think this may be legit. I took my wife's car to the dealer (Sterling McCall) for servicing this past week. When I picked it up, the service advisor asked me if I was satisfied with the experience..which I certainly found fine. He said I MAY be receiving a call about the experience and that they would mention the dealership and ask me a couple questions, and emphasized they are NOT selling anything nor selling my number. He was just giving me a heads up because of all the robocalls for warranties. I let this one go to fax. I'll probably take the next one. Since I do business with the company they're representing, DNC probably doesn't apply.
haven't purchased a car, but have been shopping...i hope this isn't a survey (as some have pointed out)for a car purchase that has yet to happen....i hate this sorta stuff. smh -_-
I received a call from this number after visiting the Bob Howard Auto Mall (Dodge) in OKC on 5-16-09. All I did was give them a little information while looking at a new car.
I have been receiving calls from this number at the top of every hour, to every phone we # we have. I too just purchased a car. But, leave a message plz.
My wife and I looked at Mini Coopers in Clear Lake. It's apparent that as soon as the salesman and finance manager get to the 'deal' or 'no deal' state, they turn your number over to this service. Within a half hour telling the salesman we couldn't live with their offer, the calls began. I only give out my cell phone number, never a land line number. My cell has a 'call blocking' application. You can download a couple of different FREE call blockers from the internet directly to your phone. I downloaded CallFirewall Version 1.4 for my Windows Mobile 6 phone (they have it for other operating systems as well). It works great. All I do is add the 'last caller' to my 'black list' with a couple of key strokes and... VOILA! They are history! Without ringing, my phone automatically answers and hangs up on them from that point on. AND... if they call back again they get an automatic text message from me telling them not to call back! I love technology!!!!
Exactly! What is so hard about leaving a message! I don't answer numbers I don't know b/c I don't just give my number out to anyone so if I don't know it I figure it is a telemarketer. I would return a call for a survey, but not gonna answer just any random number.
It is legit. Consumer Rapport is the name of the firm. Follow-up questions to make sure I enjioyed my dealership experience. What annoyed me most about them is that they called EVERY TIME I walked into the dealership with the same questions. Since I made 5 visits to the dealership before I got the car, it was very annoying.
I bought a Nissan car from June. I got calling for this number 2 or 3 times a day. I already ask them to drop my number from their phone list but they still keep calling me. The sell-man was really good but customer service of Nissan is bad. I am not happy with the way they calling me like this.I will contact with BBB if they keep calling me 2 or 3 times a day.
