I bought a car late on Saturday 9/25 at a Ford dealer in Dallas area. I've been called twice each day on Monday and Tuesday (today). I have not answered or called back.
I have received 3 calls and didn't leave a message. I have t-mobile, and haven't purchased a car, but we did go to look at some cars and that is my contact number for them. NEVER AGAIN! I will not give my number to a dealer for any reason if this is going to be the case.
Get at least one call a day from this # and no message. Just looked at a new car so it must be the same thing these others are talking about
DO NOT CALL ME! I did not buy a car. My number is unlisted. Dealers are hard enough to work with to buy a car yet alone to have them give your number to research firm. What happened the do not call list and my right to privacy?
Thanks for posting. I generally don't answer numbers I don't know. I'm going to call and tell them to take me off the list
we also bought a new truck in dallas this past weekend. would be nice if these people left a message. We don't answer calls from #'s we don't recognize.
My boyfriend recently bought a new Dodge truck at a dealership in Oklahoma. The guy that was doing the financing for him wanted at least 2 contact numbers for my boyfriend. However, he only has one number, his cell phone, which he has on him at all times. The finance guy had to have a second number, so I made the mistake of offering my cell number. He bought his vehicle on Saturday, Nov. 24. About 2:30 PM, Nov. 27th, I got a call from this number & did not answer. This is the first call I've received. They did not leave a message, so I googled the number and found out about everyone's complaints. I found a number: 713-275-3500, that somebody said they called to have their name removed from the list. I called it and some woman answered. I hung up before I heard all of what she said because my boyfriend is trying to sleep in the next room and I didn't want to wake him up discussing this apparent nonsense! If I keep getting harrassed as many times as others have said that they do, I will take action!! I will not be bothered up to 8 times day and night about a vehicle that's not even mine!!
Called 7 times in one day on my office phone ... which is the number I left with a Joe Myers Ford sales guy. Next time I'll make up a fake number.
