This company called me 8558959005 David Ames violated the FDCPA twice told me it was a debt before he confirmed my identity then I hung up on him he called right back which is HARAssment. Then I spoke to the Manager James Palmer and he was a real scumbag liar. This guy tried to say its not illegal to call twice in a day to collect a debt. Which is exactly the meaning of harassment by the FDCPA and FTC this companies lies cheats and steals for money don't pay them. they are heartless and dont care about anything but money exactly the managers would he seems like he would rob his own motheraddress given is 2414 S Fairview Santa Ana CA 92704 send in a letter say no longer allow you to correspond through telephone all further communication needs to be by mail only.Send in a dispute letter ask for verification of debt and the original contract you signed and when the debt is from.
I have had 2 calls from this company from someone names Bob Alexander saying it was imperative I called him back. Sounded like a debt collector. When I moved to this area and got a new phone number there was a debt collection agency calling on a previous owner of that number. I called back and stated that I believed them to be calling about a previous insodent and believed they had an incorrect number. They called back and reiterated the importance of my returninmg their call. Both calls sounded of a threatening nature. I have zero debt, no outstading bills and "excellent credit" so I know there are no issues. I left them a reply message with my cell phone number. No resolution to this point but it is irritating non the less. Hoping my call tomorrow will end the calls. Fortunately I gooled the phone number etc.. and saw the internet info and comments.
They call from this #7149757622 and was then connected w 7144153920. Very rude. Her name is Alexis. Said they were going to sue me. Wants me to pay $927 in 4 payments. Do i pay them?? Is it a scam. Btw... the debt was from 2005
Yep, Yolannda went for broke today! Never says who she works for, never her full name..nothing! Today, she calls my cell phone twice and leaves a rather threatening message, "it's in YOUR BEST interest to CALL ME today...or else"...excuse me? Then I find out from my mom she calls and leaves a message for either her or my dad to "call me now, or else" attitude. Who do these people think they are? Are they this ashamed of where they work, that they decide not to say? I have never received any paperwork declaring one thing I "owe" them, so what is up with the constant harassment?I do plan to take Louie up and write them a letter tonight and send it out tomorrow, telling them to cease and desist all contact by all phones, mail, or email and state they also may not contact any friends. If I hadn't Googled the number, I would have no idea who these people are! Beyond cedee and tackles to say the least, and they certainly have no issues with breaking the law!
Same story with me. Dave called 5x to my place of work after I requested not to be called in my office. I called the number back and asked to speak to an manager. When I reported the harassment I was told I was lying. When I asked what the debt was they said I owed, it was for a credit card that was paid off. When I told the manager that he again told me I was lying. In the future I will keep a recorder near by and tell them I am recording the message.I did report this agency to the FTC using the online reporting form. It is clear that this agency is harassing and threatening people. Several of the comments indicate that complaints have been filed against Premium Asset Services. Yet no one has commented on what has happened after they filed their complaint. Can someone who has been through this let me know if the harassment stopped after the complaints were filed???????????
First phone call I get from this "Premium Assets Services", 855-895-9005 was earlier this year (2014)...from a very courteous woman asking for my wife. I am immediately suspicious and ask who is calling; the woman gives me a first name and indicates she is calling from some credit agency (I honestly do not recall if she named the agency). VERY pleasant conversation. Unfortunately, I fell for her 'let's be friends, get to know you a bit, tell me about your family'' tactic,l and as a result...felt like a complete fool AFTER I had given her some pertinent personal information. Once she gets this info this very first phone call, she suddenly does this "180" and shifts into demand mode. I am startled and inquire what is suddenly the issue here...she gets more crass. That's that, I ask to speak to her supervisor. I'm on hold for a few minutes, on comes this other woman who spoke to me like I'm a convicted felon about some obscure unknown creditor debt, that the company they represent has consented to significantly reducing the amount owed. She then quotes a ridiculous amount (a little under $2000) to me on the phone...and indicates "you better pay this and settle, NOW, or your looking at court!" Next, she wants to know what account I'm going to charge it to. Your are JOKING, right? I was born at night but not LAST night!!! Like see ya....and I hang up. I have subsequently received SEVERAL 'follow up' calls the remainder of this year, mostly from some guy named Mark Martinez, who had the audacity to phone my 2 adult sons and be uncivil to them too. I let his calls go to voicemail now when I see the 855-895-9005, and told my sons to do the same. I finally call blocked it. What are my options to get rid of this jerk harassing me and my family? Some say ignore, others say report it. Who to? Pls advise!
Received a call from a Dan or Dave from the 415-3930 number after he had called my husband, school district then school site. I received an email from the secretary stating that a Dave Webber called with an urgent message and he gave her a case number. I found it strange that he would leave a 'case number' with a secretary but not with my husband, which really p'd me off because it was obvious he was out to embarrass me. I thought it was against the law for collectors to share personal information to anyone but the person they are seeking. But anyways, I returned the call and after a few minutes of going in circles, I had to cut the call short because students were coming in. When I asked for his information and a call back after school hours he became very annoyed and stated he was going to garnish my pay if I did not pay an astronomical amount of money today. He read off all my credit history, claims to have spoken to the holder of my car loans and demanded attention or else. I ended the call and contacted an attorney. These peoples practices have to be illegal.
What they do is leave you a voicemail asking you to return their call with some sort of reference number. They say they are a litigation office. Once you call, they answer "corporate office" and will then ask you for that number and then ask you if this is your name and the last 4 digits of your social. If you don't confirm, then they will tell you they will not disclose any info unless you are that person. But if you confirm, then they will know they have the correct info and now know where you are etc.If they are scammers, then they will probably make more debt claims on you if they don't get you the first time. I asked them for their address and they asked me who am I. When I didn't identify and told them I am sending them request for debt validation letter they hung up on me.
