I received an expected call from this number when I requested GoDaddy to move a website to a different server. As described above, it was an automated call giving a 5 digit pin, that I needed to enter in a web page. Seems to be a service used by many companies.
Got two calls from this number and only got part of the message letting me know my "code". When I called back this number was busy. Bogus. Legitimate businesses have a caller ID name, leave their business name and a working phone number, Fraud departments for Banks will also state the bank name and phoned number too. --Also noted in 3 ohter post here that 3 different businesses mentioned--chase Micorsoft and an internet service provider-can't imagine all 3 companies have one number....
The phone number is from govdeal.com. To join you have to verify your account by a call back system, I imagine someone entered the number wrong and thats why you got a call from them.
They called my house,they called my cell 15 times from different numbers,i Filed a police Report when hey Asked for my computer password...this is A Scam! I got texts as well,i dont even own A computer!
Got two at 8:18 AM. All I heard was a 5. The automated call must have started duering my voicemail message. No reason I should get this call.
