This was flippa verifying my account with them.From the looks of the reviews its from a system that a lot of companies use.
Legitimate number for me. I was logging into my credit union online banking on a computer that I have never used to do so until now. I had a choice to have the code emailed to me or sent to my phone. I chose phone. Thought it would be a text message but instead it was an automated call giving me my code so I could access my online banking from this new computer. Input the code and all was well.
This is a LEGIT number used by Yahoo.comApparently one of e-mail accounts was either hacked into or yahoo found something suspicious activity when I tried to login with my password.I was real simple, to gain access to my e-mail account,a CHOSE to have a code phoned to me vs via a text etc...Call rang within a minute of "ME" contacting yahoo so I could set up a new password for my e-mail account.DONE!!! Simple....I DONT KNIOW WHAT YOU OTHER PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT???THE SYSTEM WORKED FOR ME AT MY REQUESTS!!!
For the past 2 months, every time I am on my desktop and need to have a verification code sent to me to access my account, my phone rings and shows the caller ID as Bohl Jose and this number. It has happened for AirBnB, MS Outlook, and banks. Is this a phishing scam? Also about 3 months ago, someone "spoofed" me - I received a call, checked the caller ID, and saw my own name and number calling me on the very phone I was answering! I'm scared and don't know what to do about it.
The code is a 6 digit number to redeem a prize on Bing Rewards. You search for something and you add up points to redeem on gift cards and giveaways. It works.
The fraudster claimed it was Google in some earlier fake posts. Don't be fooled by these fraud artists.
