Got a call at 5:20 am eastern time. " this is yahoo with your verification code. Your number is xxxx" then they did the little yahoooooo jingle then hung up. The number the called is unlisted and I did not have that phone when I set up my email. Definitely a scam. How do you stop these calls?
I recieved a call at 11pm...it seemed automated and left a funny sound on.my voicemail..and called back again in.less than 5 minutes????
Recieved call at 0345 east coast time from this number in california left 5 digit automate code no other info left on voicemail.
same thing, no advisement nor annoncement just a 5 numbers code
This was a legitimate call for us, verification code for XBox login.
It is a confirmation number request for yahoo for verifying your email. If you didn't request this, check your email.
I received a call from 714-868-0120. It was an automated call that said I have a verification code. I have not signed up for go-daddy nor yahoo with my number. Requested no kind of admin access. Is this a form of identity theft? They gave no name identifying themselves.
If I didn't request the code, who did? Someone is trying to reset the password on one of my accounts but I don't know which account because this stuid system didn't say, or give any advice on what to do if I didn't request the code.
They are calling and not saying not a thing
I have no idea why I got a call from this # and even more clueless as to y I received a verification code.... I hope my info isn't being misused.
