Called 10:15 this am. Rang 2 times. Caller ID was Mary Blackmon. Don't know her...so didn't pick up. Love caller ID!
Got a call from 716-990-8492 this morning. Caller ID showed "Mary Blackmon". I answered out of curiosity and got a recorded message trying to give away some kind of prevention for seniors who fall a lot. I hung up since I have heard this same spiel from other scammers. Kind of interesting that a bogus name shows up in the Caller ID. I suppose it is intended to make it look like a legitimate call. This nonsense will never stop.
Just got a call from this number. Rang 3 times and hung up. Caller ID said Niagara Falls, NY.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
