Is it national grid ???

I've received 6 of these calls in the past 4 months. 6 meters were successfully changed and they needed a person over 18 on the premises to make sure all gas appliances were firing correctly. Took no more than 1/2 ea. and they were there when promised. They change them every 5-7 years because they are made of metal that can rot out and leak gas.

I got a call from this number today -- was told my gas meter is due for replacement. I called National Grid 1800-233-5325 right away and confirmed that it's not a scam.

Just got a call from them on my cell phone. I'm in Rochester, NY. They don't even service this area.

They are ridiculously annoying--I finally made a week-end appt for the gas meter and they called me at the end of the day to say that there was a problem in Boston and they weren't going to come that day. I said please do me a favor and leave me alone for a month or two--which they did and then it started again, finally, they came and changed it but I can still hear the chick recorded on the message, it haunts me, "This is Natl Grid calling to make an appointment to change your gas meter...there will be no charge to you..." and I just got it again, distorted...they're back...

Caller # from Brooklyn, NY - wanted to set up an appt. to replace the gas meter. Told caller to contact the landlord. The caller (male) kept telling me that they needed to set up appt, and I repeatedly told him to call the landlord. I hung up on him. The dude was rude.

This number has called me a few times, I finally blocked it on my cell but the caller can still leave messages. It's a distorted recorded message in a female voice giving a call back number & asking to call between business hours monday-friday.The National Grid account at my home is not in my name so I can't imagine why they would need to contact me. It's getting old though.

this is all a total scam, do not give any personal inforfation, and tell them, you will have the police check on them and see how fast they will change there tones. and they will do a reverse look up.
