I get these calls on my cell phone. I got 3 calls last night. They have called dozens of times. I live in an appartment with no individual gas meter but they won't listen.

Yes, but no. Due to caller ID spoofing (faking) you cannot trust that the caller is who they say they are based on the caller ID. High speed internet, VOIP & a few dollars in software can make the caller ID say anything the caller wishes. As usual, give no personal information on an incoming call. Look the number up, verify it, go from there.

Good advice, but the recorded message gave the same number as the call back number to set up the appointment.

This is a scam and how dumb when you have the phone number screened have never answered their calls in 4 years why do they still call the same numbers?? I don't live in NYC and the gas company they claim to be went out of business years ago. The Official way of installing a new gas meter is National Grid sends a letter when the meter is to be changed approximately every 7 years FREE. I think these people have gone to far impersonating a business and defrauding people out of money. I hope the FBI is at their door before the end of the year.

In case of an emergency genius, if you call and get disconnected they can track down your address. f you get disconnected while telling them. Especially with gas accounts, they will not call back.

NON STOP they've called several times to our business. so disruptive. obviously a scam. the last time today I said nothing. they didn't speak either and it just disconnected. unreal. this is the 10th scam call today (all from different entities). is our government doing anything about this fraud?

Called and left a message saying it was National Grid. Instead of calling this number back I called the 800 number on the National Grid website, they pulled up my account and said that everything was fine and that there was no documentation of National Grid having tried to call me today. Scam scam scam!!
