I thought I put my number on the do not call list but I am still getting these calls
automated recorded spam call offering to lower credit card rates... same company, different number
I wanted to follow up with my post. I've been on the national do not call registry for a year now. I just submitted a complaint claim to them for this number.
This is some kind of credit card company. Have asked them not to call. They are rude and hang up.
The message said it was to lower my rate, Pressed 1 to be connected to a live person who answered 'cardholder services' but the jerk hung up on me when I politely asked to be removed from their list... called back the number but "the mailbox belonging to MIKE is full, please try again later." SO RUDE!!
Same call from 720 539 6698...I get similar calls from other numbers all with the same result (as noted by other users). I've filed complaints with the FTC in the past. My best guess is these are coming from over seas (were the US has no jurisdiction) and the phone number is spoofed from some poor soul that actually owns the number. To be clear this is a GUESS not FACT. I do wish the FTC could get control on this.
These calls drive me insane and there's no way to stop them and complaints do nothing. They hang up if you ask them to stop calling. If anyone knows a way to spam them back please share. I'm on Do Not Call lists and they just don't care.
Same as everyone else here has reported. Problem is, it's my cell phone they are calling now! I can't block it on my cell without having to pay for the service. That's just not right. they eat up my cell minutes calling and letting it roll to voice mail multiple times a day and there's nothing I can do about it?! I swear, I'm beginning to think these scammers, the credit card companies and the phone companies are all in on it together!!

Comes up in my phone as a medical clinic, but when I called them they're some business that supposedly works with Medicare? I'm too young for medicare. Scam call.
Sounds like a potential call center scam.
Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
Called today and left no message. No caller ID, so I did not pick up the call.
