Same as all the above, appointment has been set up for this coming Tuesday at 10am, I have been advised that the meeting will last a couple hours and I will be interviewed by top management for a well retributed managerial position. I am a designer and presentation specialist, nowhere in my resume is stated that I managed others. I will not attend.I googled to investigate..I received a similar invitation a few years ago, not 100% sure is the same firm, but the company's name and address sounds very familiar. The place that I went to was, and probably still is, located in a shopping center, ground floor, the sing above the door was wide as the door itself, absolutely not a big deal, this place had only a presentation/waiting room, a very small office for interviews, and a wash room. This place was not what I expected, nothing like the financial firms in the City, maybe 10-12 other people were there with me. I learned from the presentation that we were required to attend, that in order to have a good start and to succeed, it was important to know families in financial needs, people that have lost their employments. My job was to phisically go in their houses and help them to refinance at (high) interest, and that's was where my pay was coming from.I was explained that the more clients I was bringing in, I would have soon been in need of help, the new helpers were to pay me a percentage of their income.... Just like working for Avon, or Mary Kay. I left immediately, sucking blood out other people's miseries it never been my forte. I am a romantic.I find good employment soon after, lasted 4 years, a mass layoff hit me in 2008. I'm positive I'll find soon something more agreeable.Good luck to you all and happy holidays!

I just got a call from 732-692-1078. A woman named Lisa from "American Income" asked me to call her back at 732-346-0040 regarding "opportunities". After reading all of these postings, I am not going to waste her time or mine by calling her back. Thanks for all the postings everyone. This is the best Caller ID system ever. Everyone should screen their calls this way.

American Income itself is not a scam. I actually like their business model. They are always looking for agents. But I dont know why these agents are calling people and not leaving messages.

I just got 3 of these phones calls this evening. Ironically I see someone notes the caller as American Income Life. On my VM the message said I had reached the office of American Inc Life. I have had them since 1998 when, they set up an appt with me through what they said was my union at work. I have paid every month for I dunno how long to American Inc Life. I have people come to my door too...it's very annoying and they try to be very pushy. I am already a customer, real or fake, doesn't matter, don't bug me!! I'm really not sure how I would go about canceling now to be honest.

I am supposed to go to this interview tomorrow, as well. Funny how we are all looking for jobs and this "company" is calling just about everyone's # they can come across, especially w/ how the economy is. It's a shame how ppl can do this to other ppl in their extreme need for jobs. I smell bullsh*t, and am definitely NOT attending tomorrow! Thank u everyone!!! Any company that doesn't have a legite website, don't waste your time! Tomorrow, I am visiting a recruiter instead...at least they can assist in job hunting (and have legitimate websites!) Glad I did this search! Good luck to you all!

I cannot believe this...I was so anxious about going on this interview. I even ask the caller (Sunita) the salary range because I didn't want to waste their time nor mine. She stated that the salary was 40K plus. I was okay with that and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday at 10 am. She stated to be prepared to stay a minimum of one hour. She gave me a website (www.work@ail.com) I wanted to know more about the company and the direction on how to get there, however, I could not find it so I decided to put the phone number in Google (732-225-6190). All of a sudden I saw this thread. Thanks to all who have who started and replied to this thread. I will not be going on Wednesday @ 10 am nor will I give a courtesy call to let her know that I am not coming.

Business model? It's a pyramid scheme - for bottom feeders only.
