Just want to state that I also received a call from the agency and I WAS actually looking for a sales position. Now, although I do not totally agree with the way the company conducts our hiring procedures, I will say I am VERY satisfied in my decision of pursuing a career at the Giglione-Ackerman agency, for those who opted to decline the interview I can honestly say you made a mistake in not giving the agency a shot. There are great people all over the agency, especially those who were called by the 732 number, that is our NJ headquarters and undoubtedly the most resourceful office we have, and thats coming from someone who works out of the south jersey office and only goes to Eatontown office once a week. So if you haven't blown your chances already I recommend going back and giving it a shot, thats if you really think you can hack it in the sales world, if not you'll be another statistic of people that think things like these are a scam, because you failed. That being said best of luck to all of you whether you pursue the sales industry or not, I just know I prefer to control my income rather than someone else.
A guy named "Shaun' called my voicemail and said they he saw my resume online and to call back TODAY for an interview. Thinking that my resume' on Career Bilker AND Mon$ter might actually be working for me I decided to check online for any info on this company b4 i call back for an interview..... GLAD I did!!!! I am an industrial Maintenance mechanic at a meat packing plant ..pretty much the polar opposite of Insurance sales person agent or whatever they want to call it. HOW desperate must they be to see me as Insurance salesperson agent thingy whatever ... as if they really looked my resume' .... Thanks for the heads-up guys :)
I got a call at 9:30 am from 732-2256-190, Barbara from HR and have the same story. They ask me to check my email for the interview and warned me that may go to my spam folder. I was suspicious right away and after talking to her, I found this site. Thanks a lot for publishing your experience on this site.
And how much do they pay you to post on these websites, Brandon? You sound like a company lackey.
I posted my resume in Carrierbuilders.com I looking for a real job. I receive a phone call today. They said they wanted to set up an in-person interview based on my resume, . they asked me if i had experience in management..but it sounds extrange to me... I look for the number and found this warnings... thanks God for the technology!... The address I am suppost to go is: 266 Raritan Center Parkway, Campus 4, Edison NJ. I think I will not be there.
Honestly? Would any of you buy any insurance from a company like this? Seriously. I would trust companies such as Allstate, State Farm, Farmers, etc. before this company for something as important as insurance. Who the F ever heard of them before? Buying MLM makeup or kitchen gadgets is one thing, but who would, in their right mind, buy MLM insurance?
I came home and saw this number on my house phone, so I looked it up and now reading all the posts about this number I see what it is. I am not interested in chasing false hopes of making money! Very annoying!!
Thanks for everyone who posted the information here. I received a call this morning and the person said they find my resume on CareerBuilders, which I don't really think I posted my resume there.... that was why I started to search online and find you all here.......The person who calling me asked me to go in on Friday 10AM for a in-person interview at the address: 266 Raritan Center Parkway, Campus 4, Edison NJ. I don't think I will go for this interview on Friday...... I also asked for a website and was given: ail.comThanks again!!!
