Hey Tess! What a coincidence that my name is also Tess. Anyway I got a call from the same number (732-225-6190) from Matt with the same story; they found my resume up on Careerbuider and want me to come in tomorrow to meet with David Ackerman. I'm glad that I found your response among the replies about American Life because the company that called me said they were Touchmark and yours was the only one I saw with that company name, so thank you. I spoke to Matt and he asked me to bring in my resume, business and personal references and a notepad and pen for the interview and of course dress code is professional. That struck me as a little odd considering that they found my resume online and it's typical protocol to dress professionally for any interview anyway. I received their email confirmation but after reading through everyone's reviews, I think I'll save my gas and stay at my job. Thanks for the review!
Got a call this morning from Ray. He stated he got my resume on Careerbuilder. Said I qualified for the postition they were looking for. I made an appt for an interview for Saturday at 9:30, but after reading these postings, I will not go and waste my time. Thanks for your postings.
You are all great, just got the call, so random. Girl on the phone would not provide details or anything that seemed professional on any level. "show-up dressed professional with your resume and personal referrences in-hand, that's all". I mean are they serious? I called back after coming across this blog just to double check and see if i could fish out more info, got nothing. She said my supervisor came across your resume we have lots and lots of positions available and I am not sure which one he would want you to fill, she wouldn't even answer if they were entry level or what field. They gave me a West Orange address, not worth wasting my gas to drive to this sketchy interview! Thanks everyone!
Wow...Thank you all for the heads up...I got the same call from Eilene...I think I am going to save my gas and parkway tolls..I going to bookmark this website and that I really need to find a job ASAP.
I got a call from a woman, missed her name. She said she saw my resume on monster.com and asked what I wanted in a job. I asked her what the company did, and she refused to answer my question and repeated her question to me. I said I wasn't comfortable answering until I knew what the company did. She abruptly hung up on me. Probably a scam, rude as well. Who chooses to do this for a living? Terrible.

I missed two calls from this phone number. When I tried to return the calls I could not get to anyone there. I think the company is in insurance business.
I'm in serious need of a job for my family and this is such a disappointment. The jerk that called me and wasted my time should be ashamed. Thank God she was barely audible so I had to look up this number to find out what the company title was.
This company is legit. The people who are calling you in reference to your resumes, are actually trying to help you get a job. Say what you want about these people, but at least they are bringing home a paycheck. There are certain things they have to say, and certain things they either cannot say, or just do not know the answers to. So before you start knocking down a company or a person, realize that just because one person started saying something bad, doesn't mean it is bad for everyone. If you were is suck "serious need of a job for your family" then you would have taken the time to come in for an interview and see what they are about because what else are you doing? Sitting on the couch eating chips and watching tv?
