The call had a kid on the line thanking me for donating blood (which ironically I did this past weekend), but it sounded like a recording. And upon checking out the number, most people claim it to be scam anyway.
It was lifeblood confirming an appt I had to donate blood. I didn't answer but they left a message while I was here checking out the number. Turns out it was not spam this time
Call from Connecticut Light & Power. Didn't answer & an automated voice mail was left. They were checking to see if I had power after a big hurricane. A number was left to call if I was still without power.Based on the above information I'm guessing they use the same 3rd party company to make their calls as Dell.
Claimed to be a call from CL & P, checking to see if we had power back, since hurricane Sandy hit us.Let it goto the answering machine. "No action is needed at this time". humm.... Wouldn't you want us to press 1 or something to confirm we have or don't have power??Sounds shady to me.
Called for "Public Service of NH" electric company.Warned of coming storm that could bring high winds and loss of electrical service.Called because a member of our family uses medical equipment that requires electricity, suggested we have a generator available or take other actions.
