Called, left no message on Xmas night
I received a voicemail from a "television producer" directing me to call this number to discuss an opportunity to be a guest on a public television show called Spotlight hosted by Joan Lunden. When I called back, the producer told me there was a 22.9K "production cost" fee to participate and my company declined the invitation. I make no public judgment as to whether or not this is a scam, but if you'd like more information to decide for yourself, check out what others have said in the posting strings for 772-237-8518 which is the number for another show called "World Progress Report" also hosted by Joan Lunden. The websites for World Progress Report (worldprogressreport.com) and Spotlight (spotlightedu.com) are virtually identical and contain the same programs with different titles. The article below and a google search for: Paul Alan Levy AND 800notes may be of interest to you as well. www.techdirt.com/articles/20100913/2201581099 ... ss-report.shtml
I received the same phone call. The woman said she was a producer for the show "Spotlight" on public television hosted by Joan Lunden. She also said she was working in conjunction with Style Network and Vanity Fair.com producing a show called the Organic Connection. I couldn't find anything on the internet about any such show but my search brought up the link posted above. Judge for yourself. I know I have.
