Receive daily multi calls. When I answer there is silence. If I call the # back I hear either a fast busy or an auto the party is on the other line or your call can not be completed as dialed.How do you block the annoying no purpose calls?

I receive these calls on my phone four or fives times during the day. I have attempted to call back but the message says the number has been disconnected. I feel like I've been personally violated and want these calls to STOP. My caller ID indenifies the call as a cellular phone call.

Just call 611 if it's your cell phone and tell them to block that number from calling you. I called VZ wireless and they said "no problem, that number will never be able to call your cell number again," If that doesn't work then after your next call make sure it's the last in-bound call and dial *57 after you hang up on them, but don't forget to yell at them for lying and being deceptive first. This even works when they block their caller ID. 3 of these *57 reports and they will again never be able to call your number (unless they change their number)

I took your advice and called the police station in VA, and they turned it over to the FBI apparently they are getting calls all across the country from this number and the sweet old lady at the police station was so kind.

Thank you for writing this. I called the police station and they said they are getting a ton of calls from all over the United States regarding this number. THEY ARE COMMITTING FRAUD AND A INVESTIGATORS ARE LOOKING INTO IT AND TRYING TO TAKE THESE PEOPLE DOWN! In my phone call they said they could lower my interest rate on all my credit cards.

Any luck filing a complaint...I am SO sick of these people calling- AT LEAST 4 times a day. I ask them nicely to take me off their list and they hang up on me!

They have been calling here too. I'm going to go to the do not call website. I put our names on list about 2 years ago, but forgot to 'renew', guess this what happens when you aren't the do not call list! Does anyone know of a way to get a do not e-mail list? My workplace e-mail gets about 20 spam e-mails every day! if those people spent that energy doing something worthwhile, no telling what they could do instead of doing nasty stuff. Just had to vent! 1-757-990-8981. I called it back and there was an automated attendant (female voice / thick Middle East accent / no company identified) The attendant said "if you would like your number removed, press #1" and when I did, it repeated my cell # back and said it had been removed. We'll see...
