I just moved to a new home with a new phone number. No one knows my number and yet somehow I just started receiving these calls 2-3 times a day. 702-520-1103 private office. 757-990-8981 sales dept. 703-291-9045 sales dept. 201-221-3014 auto warranty. 703-291-9047 sales dept. I caught the girl in the scam when I asked her the name of company and she just hung up on me the first time (703-291-9047 - Sales Dept). I am not quite sure why they keep calling back. I just don't answer the phone anymore. (You know guys. I didn't fall for it the first time. So please stop calling. Your just being annoying.)

I like this tactic. I may have to start doing this in the future with other numbers or possibly schedule an appointment and then not be home. Either way I figure they are wasting my time--I might as well waste their's!!!Unfortunately my problem with the 757-990-8981 number is that they call but then there is nobody on the line--not even a recording. What do you do when they aren't giving you the options of either listening to their pitch or requesting that they take you off their calling list. I have tried sitting on the line and waiting for their computer service to recognize that I'm there but instead of anyone answering the connection eventually just disconnects. They keep calling--at least two or three times a day!

missed the call and tried to call back and got a recording saying that it is disconnected...mmmmm

i jsut got a call from this place and wanting to see car warranty. i told them my truck is a 1993 coustom and he guy hung up on me!

I have gotten these calls on several occasions

didnt pick up- they didnt leave a message- did a search and it was a disabled number.

recorded message saying are you having problems making your mortgage, then press 1. I did, I asked for their company name. He said "Equity Homes Mortgage". I ask his name,he replied Pete. I then said that I am on the do-not-call and if I receive another call from you, then I'll report you. He said go ahead. Then I hung up

Thick Indian accent. Calling (yeah right) about our car warranty expiring. We have NEVER had a car warranty. They had our name but mis-spelled. Asked them which car, they said Dodge. Never owned a Dodge. They wanted to confirm our address. Started asking them who they were and what company, and they hung up. I get the feel they are using the do not call registry to call people to gather more information.
