These people called me for months to help me with my interest rates! At least twice per day! When prompted to "press 2, to be removed from our call list", I did. It only made it worse! I Even talked directly with their operators, asking them to stop, I don't need your services. I tried to be polite throughout at least the first dozen calls. But, it only seemed to make them more determined! So, I submitted complaints with the FTC and Bellsouth/AT&T. I was told, the telephone company could not block telemarketers, even if my name was on the 'No Call List'! But for an additional $9.95 a month, they would block them! My comment was, "That's extortion!" The operator even had the guts to agree with me!!! So, instead of paying them $9.95, I went to Walmart, spent the money on an air horn. The kind used in boats...about $10. I gave them a couple more chances to stop calling. Then, when prompted to speak with a representative, I did! When they answer, let loose with the air horn in their ear!!! Yes, it may very damned well burst their eardrums. But, I pay for my phone service, NOT telemarketers! If they can't get the hint, BLAST THEM! They should get REAL respectible jobs! I promise, I get NO more calls!!! I works so well, I should be charging for this solution!!
I have gotten calls at least 20 times since 6-9-2011 asking for Diana. Some times they just hang up. Sometime they say stay on the line for a important call.
I received 3 calls from this week and am trying to research who they are - I received a call from Mandy about my car warranty expiring on a car I sold in February. I quickly noticed Mandy was an IVR (interactive voice response) - not a real person. She hung up on me even though I tried responding.
They called me again today. This time it was on lowering my credit card interest. The other calls were all on extending my auto warranty. "Angry E" above seems to think the calls are coming fromExtended Auto Warranty LLC1868 N. I turned them in to the FBI and the BBB, and if the calls continue I will file a harassment suit against them in the local small claims court. That will at least force them to answer unless they like default judgements.
These clowns have been calling me everyday for about 1 year now. They change the number occasionally but it is the same pitch. Your car warranty has run out and they want to sell me a new warranty.Since I can not get them to stop, I just abuse them over the phone now. It is good therapy ;^)
I have received numerous calls from this number and finally found out who they are calling on behalf of. I know this phone number probally makes calls for numerous busiesses but in recent calls for loan modification, they represent Echo Loan, Inc. I looked up Echo Loan on the Better Business Bureau (BBB), they have a "D" rating which means use extreme caution if dealing with them. I filed a complaint with the BBB and requested $500 in compensation for violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection ACt (TCPA) - suggest you all do the same.I have a call into the company (their phone number is 1-866-796-3246 so start bombarding them with calls and ask for the fines you are entitled to due to their violating the TCPA.
This is the second time I've received this call telling me that my automobile warranty is up and to press 1 and enter all my personal information in order to double check if my information is current.I hate scammers.
