Update to my previous post...The number 765-986-8899 is a landline number in Stewart Indiana. But I was not able to obtain any additional information beyond that. If I'm able to do so, I will post here...My advice to everyone ... if you get a call from this number is DO NOT call it back! The only purpose doing so would serve is to verify your number is valid, and thus you may be subjected to more of the same type of calls. You have to always assume that your number (cell phone or house phone as the case may be...) is being captured on the other end...FYI, I'm a retired cop with 32 years in law enforcement...Kuya "D"
I always miss the call! The weird thing is that my Blackberry will show that I have one missed, but when I go to my call list it shows this number as being received and not the red X it usually shows for a missed call. Weird...
Just missed call from this number. Called it back because I have family in Indiana. The voice said the number was disconnected(in English).
REMEMBER, REPORT THESE CALLS TO THE FCC VIA THE ONLINE COMPLAINT FORM, THEY WILL INVESTIGATE IF PEOPLE COMPLAIN. I IMAGINE THIS IS THE SAME OUTFIT THAT WAS USING FLORIDA AREA CODES LAST YEAR - BUT NOT THIS YEAR AFTER COMPLAINTS CAME IN.
Just got a 2nd phone call from this number - this time it said it was redirected from my cell phone number, and my cell phone number was listed when it called. It was all in Spanish when I answered the phone. Thought that it was weird that my number showed up on the Caller ID and when I picked it up it had the 765 number then "as directed by: (my cell number was listed).
Was expecting a call from a Spanish speaking friend and picked up the phone without looking at the phone number. It took me a moment to realize that the call was bogus.

I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
