Just got three calls from this number over the course of 3 hours. The first time they told me that I had just won $1m. I'm not independently wealthy or anything, but I told them that I was not interested. I haven't answered again.
Have had a ton of missed calls from this number. Just curious as to what service you all have because ive had several of these scams contact me since AT&T took over Cingular. Don't know if that is just a coincidence or what.
This number just called me twice in a row and when I checked my voicemail, there was dead air. I read all your comments so I called it back and it was a recording saying that this was the "do not call" something or another and if I want to have my name removed, leave my name and phone number and it will take up to 72 hours. Funny thing, I didn't call any regular hotline to have my name removed from lists. I am not leaving my name! Weird....
These idiots have called me 3 times already within the last hour. I called the number back and I get the VM recording stating "to be placed on our do not call list leave your name and number", but the mailbox is full....go figure.
Woman called and said I was entered into a contest and she needed my credit card number to make sure I was entered into it or something. I don't know I didn't let her finish talking. i told her to unsubscribe me and she rudely hung up
Well, I just got a call from this number. Funny, I went through the whole process and stuff. I had to give them a secondary contact number. Con Artists think they are so smart.If you want the scoop, here it is. Thenumber isn't real, they use a secure number they get to from their computer. I figured this one out and got their real number. I called that number and hung up right away, now the second number is calling both numbers I gave to them. Luckily, I gave them an old card number that has no money in the account, so they won't get anything out of me.I hope to catch these idiots.
I actually just got a call from this number and when I said I wasn't available- lmao- and if I could take a message, they were like, no thanks, I'll call back. Glad I checked on here first. :( Thank God it was only a 12 second call too. >.<

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.
