Got a call from them at my office, asking for the owner. I told him she wasn't here (she wasn't) and then he asked for her cell phone. That's a bit ballsy for a telemarketer. I told him I could take a message, but he said he'd call back later. After seeing all the comments on here, if he calls back I'll tell him to remove us from the calling list.
I just got a call from this number on one of our unpublished roll over numbers. When I answered I heard two females giggling and one of them said "I was like, I'm going to kill you". I said 'really' and that's when she realized that someone had picked up the phone and asked to speak to the owner of the company (not by name). After that truly unprofessional intro I just said 'no' and hung up the phone. Within a few minutes she called our main number and my co-worker answered the phone and Tiffany from Sentry asked to speak to the owner of the company. Neither of the owners were here and she asked for a mobile phone number. Does she seriously think that anyone is going to give out a mobile phone number to someone who doesn't even know the name of the person they are trying to contact?
Looked up Security Surveillance, called them & requested they remove my number from their call list. Hope that works!
Spoke to the rep from Sentry Security " S S I" she said it was a sensative matter, could only discuss with the right person (whose name she didn't even have) not a solicitationCalled her back and got more information - they check the public record police reports - then call anyone who had a break in/ theft to try to upgrade to their ultimate state of the art camera system.Told her happy with whom we have she pushed - so I pushed back telling her that she lied, said it wasnt a solicistation, yet that is exactly what it is. Be honest - and accept a polite No.
to trust fund baby-brat.. obviously you never had to work..I was a telemarketer for a very high end ad agency for many years..made good money and in most cases not treated like a piece of #$#@! But, people must make a living and the least you can do is respect the fact they are working and not living off mommy and daddy. Shame on you.
Done telemarketing (sales and marketing-cold calling) for several years...I must agree that is not how you get the attention of a business. They need a number to be able to call back at...or at least give enough information so they can be directed to the right person to leave a message. But you have to give them credit for at least going out and getting a job, but being rude will not get you anywhere in life especially telemarketing.
how do you know this? What if it is something your company could use you just never checked it out.. because you were to busy getting that 4th cup of company and being on Facebook. I doubt any business is that busy these days not to take a call to see if perhaps it might be of importance..respect them for at least trying to work and pay their bills...If your that busy to not take a call than let me come work for your company..I am sure you must be make $$$$$$$$$, therefore can afford to employ me to sit and answer phone calls like these each day.
Another bothersome call - these people will not say why they are calling. Just keep calling, calling, calling, calling. The person who calls is rude. We have asked them to quit calling but here they are again today. We are putting down "unknown" as the reason for the call because they refure to tell us what they are calling about.
