I agree. The same thing has been happening to me. Calls coming in at all hours of the night, and no one says anything when you answer. Once I just answered, but I didn't say anything... thought that someone was disguising their number and calling to iritate me (a lot of work, I know), but stranger things have happened. Anyway, after leaving the phone lay on speaker and my not saying anything, the person started tapping on the phone... but never said a word. I DON'T know how they even got my number, but yes indeed it is VERY annoying!

I have been getting calls from a man using this number who I met on Match.com. He says he lives in Austin but another number he used to call me is listed in San Antonio. No threats, he seems nice and has even sent me flowers, but refuses to give me any other number to contact him. Also says he travels around the world alot.....hmmmmm Worries me that who ever this is is getting women's info from online dating services.....be careful.

BEWARE SINGLE LADIES! If you get a call from this number and it is a man who found you through any online dating service, he is a con artist. He will send you flowers, tell you he loves you, then "travel abroad" and allegedly get into a bad situation and then beg you for money. I have already found one woman in Texas who has lost $2000 to his guy, who calls himself Joe Miller, gold and diamond dealer.Hes' now trying to get money out of me. DO NOT believe this guy, no matter how much he tells you he loves you...the emails are all cut and pasted to every woman. BEWARE THIS IS NOT A JOKE, IT"S A RACKET. He will send you airplane itineraries and have you wait and the airport, then he never shows, and has even asked for bank account information to wire money between your account and his. RUN AWAY!!!!!

I got the same thing. Girl calls, sounds like she's in her late 20-30's, asks for me by first name, and when I confirm it's me, she says she has the wrong number and hangs up. If its the iPhones way of identifying a caller disguising their number, then that explains the prank calls and identity thieves, etc. But someone calling from a blocked number that knows your name is CREEPY. I don't know whether to be afraid or ticked...could be someone trying to steal my identity, or just be some crazy chick that my "stud" boyfriend messed with in his past! Either way...I want to find out what business this girl thinks she has with me and resolve the situation...cowards, scammers, they have the nerve to call my phone but grow some kahunas and lets chat face to face!!Reported it to Sprint, they said main office has to research and will call me back. Has anyone ever had any luck calling Sprint to report and actually got an answer? Surely they HAVE to have a method of tracking this...if something like this resulted in a homicide or the government being scammed out of money, I'm sure they would have callers identity in seconds!!!

Are you saying they are from Sprint trying to charge more to your phone bill? Why else would a stranger try to randomly make Sprint some extra money from bogus charges?

Sounds like she found your number but not your name...either scam or she's involved with someone you talk to! I just want to know if Sprint is able to trace it and give me an answer of WHAT number they are really calling from.
