Missed call yesterday and today, my area code (1718-new york) - no message

I also got a missed call from this number on my cell. They left no message so not sure why they called and I am in Canada. I wonder what they have to gain by phoning so many people???

Like a fool, I entered my cell number into an internet site offering a freebie. The next day, I start getting nutty calls from freaks, I did not answer the phone. The moral of the story, don't use your actual number to fill out ANY internet offers and by all means don't answer the phone unless you know who is calling.....

I have T-Mobile Prepaid, and from time to time I get auto calls in Spanish.

Weird... I just got a call from this number and typed it in google. strange that everyone posted on this within the past hour

Just now got a call from this number on my cell phone. I answered, there was what sounded like a burst of static, followed by random noise, and then a recording in Spanish. I live in Pennsylvania, area code 610.

i called it back but it said it was international. wtf

OK, so they can get their numbers blocked, but my cell provider said that I have to pay 4.99 to get the numbers blocked.

Got the call at 11:55 mst. Alberta (403) area code

if you call at&t like I did they will tell you to call the donotcalllist. I called Att a second time to complain. They told me that I could get smartways for 4.99 per month. They can't do anything, but take our money. I feel so violated. I do not give my number away to just anyone. Nothing is safe anymore! I texted my husband and two kids right away! Of course they're smart enough to not answer the phone. My hubby got rung 2x, he never answered, my daughter called twice as well. She didn't pickup due to be unknown. I picked it up, and called back, but never entered my number. I'm anxious to get an outrageous phone bill.
