I called it back but there is no ringing!

Same thing happened to me.

It seems to be a local switch for an 800 number, just like you can't call a telemarketer back at the number that shows up on your phone when they call, you can't call Metropolitan Credit back on this number.

Left an automated message on my message manager saying to call a 1-888 number to discuss important business. Deffantly sounds like a scam.

Left antomated message on my answering machine saying it was important personal business.Leaving a telephone number 800-835-7094 with a referrence number 07199304.A real scan.Will not call.

left automated message saying very important perscnal business. left phone #888 797-7727,reference #062720132.called and just kept ringing.

This is an important and personnel call. Call me back to this number...
