793 is an invalid US area code. It's not recognizable as any kind of access code either (like 011 for international calls) so one may safely presume the caller is spoofing his number, i.e., the caller has special software that allows him to send a fake phone number to your CallerID. The caller can be anywhere on this planet and has hostile intentions. What friend or legit business would want to hide their calling number? It may help others if you can write a detailed description of what transpired. Are you getting calls and just not answering? Is the caller hanging up when you answer? Does the caller make threats?

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
