Got a call from this number stating they were FPL. They said techs were on their way out to disconnect service and they needed to collect payment immediately. I played along and had some fun since we don't have FPL as a provider here. Scam call with ID spoofing.
The recorded message said they were Florida Power and Light and they are going to disconnect my service because someone new had signed up for service at this address. I was told to call back if there was a question. SCAM ALERT..I don't even have service with Florida Power and Light.
We got a call from "Name Not Found" claiming to be FP&L but we did not pick up. The call left a message saying that someone applied for another electricity account and our current one will be suspended if we do not call back to 800-226-3545.We then called real FP&L and verified what's going on. FP&L told us that this was a scam. So, be careful!

Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
