received several calls from this number. called it back and got progressive insurance!?

just got a call from this number, didnt answer.you said its progressive insurance? makes sense to me.

I had a message on my WORK phone this morning. They are looking for someone with a similar last name. I do not share a policy with either of the people they are looking for. This is harassment as far as I'm concerned.

I called the number listed and got a live person. She asked for my policy number and I told her that I did not feel comfortable giving it to her. I told her that I didn't think she was really with Progressive and she insisted she was. I told her to take my name off their list. Looked up Progressive's numbers and that is one number off their claim department.

my daughter got the call on her cell phone. I called back and was told our policy was about to expire and asked for my visa card number. She has no drivers license and Im not insured with progressive. cals were automated and I never got a live person

Progressive Ins - calling to collect payment before policy expires

Do not give them your information unless you call Progressive directly. I have been getting calls from this number too. BUT!!!...I do everything online, and I'm not late with my payments. They sent me information about my new policy through email/paperless. I don't know why they would be calling me. I don't answer it, and they don't leave a voice mail, so it's probably not important!

I just called back the number, and it doesn't sound like Progressive AT ALL!!! I called progressive the other day at 1-800-876-5581 and had several choices on the voice menu to choose from. This 1 800 # went directly to saying you'd need your policy number and a visa or check number! It also said that they were trying to reach me because my policy was about to expire. It automatically updates each 6 months. Again...I do my stuff online, and it has never been this way before. When I called this number and pressed 2 to be directed to a person, she answered "hello, thank you for holding, is there a policy number you need help with?" People from Progressive, say "thank you for calling progressive how may I assist you." They don't ask for your # right away! I'd be careful with this number!!!!

Called me eight times in three days and never left a message. Then the ninth time, I got an automated message from Progressive insurance that my premium was due. Dumb since I had already paid online.
