I got the call/message today in regard to my Visa. They did mention a bank/credit union that I do business with, but I do not have a Visa card. So it cannot be legitimate! Also interesting is that I got the call on a long weekend when the banks/credit unions will be closed on Monday for a holiday. The first person (male) who talked on the message sounded very unprofessional and maybe not a native English speaker, but the second (female) did sound professional. I'm not buying it, but will contact my bank/CU on Tuesday.

Some one called asking for the same, credit card number to verify that a purchase had been made. First why do they need your number, if they can see a purchase was made. That doesnt make sense. Next, when I called back and asked why if they work for my bank the caller ID comes up a unknown. Then they gave me some crap about they are a second party. I am going to repor this to the authorities.

Legit #, my Credit Union/Visa Debit card uses them.

Called to verify charges on credit card. Left a voice mail to call another number with a case number. Called my credit card company directly instead and they confirmed the number that was on my voice mail. Charges where then confirmed. So, as far as I can tell, a valid number for fraud protection/alerts.

Yeah I just checked with my bank it is a legit #. Wheeeew!

At first I thought the calls and phone numbers I was getting were legit..they knew stuff about my paypal acct that no one else would know. BUT, that was on phones...now I rec'd phishing email with a phony link.So DUH, all these posters claiming it's a legit number, THEY are the scammers!!!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS NUMBER *OR* THESE POSTERS ON THIS SITE!!

This number/company is valid. It's a third party company that monitors credit and debit services, which I verified with my bank. I was able to take care of the matter directly with my bank without calling the number back, though.

This is legit, but I didn't feel right calling back, so I simply called the number on the back of my card and the bank representative took care of the issue directly. I am glad I called because the bank did have a hold on my card. The bank did confirm that it was a third party monitoring service that they contract.

This is a valid number, as they are a third party card monitoring company for the financial institution i work for.
